Shipping Your Restored Vintage Radio

At Old Fidelity, we understand that many vintage radios are irreplaceable pieces of history. That is why we take exceptional care in packaging and shipping every radio we sell, ensuring it arrives safely and ready to enjoy.

Over the years, we have successfully shipped restored radios throughout Canada and the United States — including destinations as far away as California — as well as specialty equipment internationally, including AM transmitters shipped safely to Sweden.

Professional Packing and Protection

Every radio is carefully wrapped and packed using high-quality protective materials designed to minimize movement, vibration, and impact during transit.

For larger or heavier radios, we strongly recommend custom-built wooden crating. Radios weighing more than 40 pounds are especially vulnerable to shipping damage if not properly protected, and crating provides the highest level of security during transport.

Because many antique radios contain delicate veneers, glass dials, and hard-to-replace components, each shipment is packed individually according to the radio’s size, weight, and construction. For more information on our packing procedures click here.
